Getting there

Located on the western shore of the Pearl River Delta, Macao is an easily accessible destination in Southeast Asia.

By air; Macao has direct flights from cities in South-East Asia, such as Bangkok and Singapore, and from China. From long-haul destinations the easiest option is to fly to Hong Kong and from there take a ferry to Macao or take a bus over the spectacular Hong Kong – Zuhai – Macao bridge.

Air Macau is the flag carrier airline of Macao operating services to 24 destinations in Mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam, as well as regional international services, from its hub at Macau International Airport.

By ferry: You can board a ferry at the airport, either TurboJet or CotaiJet or from the city terminal. Ferries are 24 hours a day and run as frequently as every 15 mins during peak hours. The journey only takes between 60-70 minutes.

By land: from China there are two land crossing points separating Macau from the city of Zhuhai: The Barrier Gate, and the Cotai Frontier Post. By helicopter: Sky Shuttle offers 12-seater Agusta Westland helicopters transfers to Macao from Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Flights take about 15 minutes.
